New Autoclaves Feature Enhanced Safety, Space Savings, and Serviceability

January 6, 2014, Boston, MA — Consolidated Sterilizer Systems announces the release of two new laboratory autoclaves in the EZ-Glide™ Vertical Sliding Door Autoclave series— models 26AV and 26BV. The new autoclave models feature unique power door operation designed for ease of use, simplified maintenance, and low cost of ownership. These new models will allow Consolidated Sterilizer Systems to continue to grow as an industry leader in the life science steam autoclave market.

Each new model incorporates a combination of technical, safety, ecofriendly, and serviceability features not available on the market today. For example, these units incorporate a hinged front service panel that allows easy service access from the front of the unit. In addition, the patented WaterEco® system drastically reduces laboratory autoclave water consumption. The chambers for the 26AV and 26BV measure 26” x 26” x 39” (15.25 ft3) and 26” x 26” x 49” (19.2 ft3), respectively. These sizes are ideal for a mid-size lab looking for high sterilization capacity in a small footprint.

Consolidated Sterilizer Systems President and CEO Arthur Trapotsis said the new autoclave models were developed due to a need in the market for an affordable and reliable mid-size sliding door steam autoclave. “We’re very excited to roll out these new autoclave models,” said Trapotsis. “We designed these autoclaves based on feedback from the field around serviceability and low-cost of ownership. Both autoclaves feature a unique non-stick door gasket designed to avoid door jamming, a hinged front access panel for easy service, as well as customizable design elements that are unlike anything else on the market today.”

Consolidated products are sold and serviced by a network of factory authorized and trained sales and technical personnel around the world. Consolidated products are 100% Made in the USA and are built with high quality non-proprietary parts.
