Consolidated Sterilizer Systems Products Now Available on GSA
Strategic Partnership to Bolster Sterilizer Sales to U.S. Government
July 1, 2016, Boston, MA — Consolidated Sterilizer Systems (CSS), a leading manufacturing of steam sterilizers in the life sciences market, is excited to announce that its products are now listed with the General Services Administration (GSA).
Through a new strategic partnership with Franklin Young International, CSS now has the ability to easily sell steam sterilization equipment to governmental agencies like the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute of Health, Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and more. Franklin Young is a nationally known dealer of laboratory instruments and equipment, medical devices and consumables and an approved vendor of the General Services Administration (GSA Contract # GS-07F-0636W).
“We’re excited about the opportunity to partner with Franklin Young in order to better facilitate future sales with governmental agencies, as well as to have better visibility within the government market,” said Jason Thompson, director of sales and services at CSS. “The new strategic partnership allows Franklin Young to operate on behalf of CSS and leverage its existing stance within the government marketplace to sell steam sterilizer equipment manufactured by CSS.”
Prior to the partnership, CSS was relegated to a competitive bidding process that at times made it challenging to compete with other sterilizer manufacturers who were GSA-approved.
Ron Franklin, chief executive at Franklin Young said, “Franklin Young’s slogan is Helping America Lead the World. We are both excited and optimistic to partner with CSS, a company who fits perfectly with Franklin Young’s mission: To offer best-in-class, made-in-USA products to government laboratory, scientific and medical operations and research facilities.”
