Welder / Fabricator

Laboratory equipment manufacturer, located in Billerica MA, currently seeking an experienced Mig/Tig welder to fabricate various steel and stainless steel weldments. Qualified candidate will work in a production manufacturing shop using GMAW and GTAW welding processes.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience using the above processes with steel and stainless steel for a minimum of 5 years
• Experience in operating overhead & jib cranes, saws, grinders and related shop equipment
• Proficient in reading shop drawings
• Experience in the creation of jigs and fixture

We are looking for a fast learner who can think through and solve problems, has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and ERP systems is a plus.

This is for a permanent full time position to start immediately. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
